The ATR585M is equipped with the Sony IMX585 monochrome back-illuminated sensor, featuring a 1/1.2” format, 2.9μm pixel size, and 8.3MP resolution (3840×2160, 4K). It delivers 47 fps high frame rate in high-speed mode with exceptionally low readout noise. 

The camera is equipped with a native 12-bit ADC, which extends to a 16-bit depth in High Dynamic Range mode. This achieves high quantum efficiency, enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range of images. As a result, exposure times are significantly reduced, delivering superior performance for astrophotography and observation. 

And building on the ATR series' efficient and stable cooling technology, the ATR585M features a built-in heating module on the front window, with a cooling temperature difference of up to 45°C. Precision Temperature Control & Efficient Cooling

The ATR585M is equipped with a dual-stage TEC (Thermoelectric Cooling) system, which uses a PID algorithm to precisely regulate the cooling temperature for optimal stability and efficiency. With a cooling temperature difference of up to 45°C below ambient temperature, the camera significantly reduces dark current and delivers exceptional low-temperature performance. This makes the ATR585M ideal for long-exposure imaging,effectively reducing thermal noise interference.

Anti-condensation Technology

The ATR585M features a built-in heating module within the sensor's glass chamber, adjustable via software with four levels of control. This effectively prevents condensation on the CMOS sensor surface and protects against moisture forming on the glass window. It ensures stable performance even in outdoor environments with high humidity and significant temperature fluctuations.

Performance Curve

The ATR585M supports a low-noise mode, where the readout noise is further reduced by lowering the frame rate. In HCG mode, the high full-well capacity and low noise settings effectively reduce readout noise while delivering outstanding high dynamic range performance.
